Where Competitor 1 is stronger.
- A long track record: it says it has decades in hospitality and works with many franchise brands.
- Uber Eats and Mr D are listed now, while ours are still waiting for approval.
- Purpose-built terminals on its higher packages, and integrated payments from one supplier.
- Hotel system integrations, if you run a restaurant inside a hotel.
Which one suits you.
Choose Competitor 1 if delivery apps must be live on day one, or you want a long-established supplier with its own terminals and payments.
Choose NoPOS if you want one price per store however many tills you run, month-to-month terms, and no store server. At Competitor 1's entry price, three terminals come to R3,300 a month before once-off costs, against R1,499 for a NoPOS Standard store with any number of tills. Questions owners ask.
Is NoPOS cheaper than Competitor 1?
It depends on the number of terminals. NoPOS charges per store and Competitor 1 publishes prices per terminal, so NoPOS costs less as terminals are added. Once-offs are quoted separately, so compare full quotes.
Does NoPOS connect to Uber Eats and Mr D?
Not yet. The connections are built and go live once each provider approves them.
