Terms of use
These terms apply when you use the NoPOS ordering app or website to order from restaurants. Restaurants that use NoPOS to run their business have a separate agreement with us.
Ordering
- When you place an order you are buying from the restaurant, not from NoPOS. The restaurant sets its menu, prices, delivery areas, delivery fees and opening hours.
- An order is confirmed when the restaurant accepts it. A restaurant may decline an order, for example if an item has sold out or the address is outside its delivery area. If you have already paid, the payment is refunded.
- Questions about your food, delivery or a refund should go to the restaurant first. We will help where we can.
Payments
- Card payments are processed by our payment provider. Your card is charged when the restaurant accepts the order.
- Wallet balances, vouchers and loyalty points are offered by the restaurant group and follow its rules, including any expiry dates shown in the app.
Your account
- You sign in with your own phone number. Keep access to it secure; you are responsible for orders placed from your account.
- You may delete your account at any time in the app under Account.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, for example by placing orders you do not intend to collect or pay for, interfering with the app or other people's accounts, or using it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.
The service
We work to keep NoPOS available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or other South African law.
Privacy
How we handle your personal information is described in our privacy policy.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will show the date of the latest version at the top. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
